Before receiving services at Ability KC Jasmine had struggled communicating with others her entire life and would often find herself sitting in class not speaking and sometimes not even presenting her work.
Specialty teams at Ability KC work closely with the outpatient medical rehabilitation, therapeutic preschool and employment services programs to support individuals in achieving their greatest abilities.
Neuropsychological and rehabilitation psychology services are available for individuals who have experienced conditions such as brain injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and dementia disorders. Ability KC staff also assist individuals through vision therapy, post-concussion services, applied behavior analysis (ABA) and adaptive computer & communication technology (ACCT) services for school, work and community inclusion.
