Biography

Janet Padley, Chief Impact Officer, has 35 years of experience in rehabilitation and education services and has been a leader in program development. She is actively involved in advocating for the need for pediatric rehabilitation services for families and educating the community, referral organizations, and providers on the importance of finding the right placement for children in the continuum of care.

She is a surveyor of medical rehabilitation for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is an active member of the Kansas City Pediatric Alliance, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and the Community Disaster Resiliency Network.  She has provided leadership in achieving consecutive CARF re-accreditation for Ability KC in the pediatric programs for the past 21 years.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Central Missouri and a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in special education from the University of Kansas.
