Our Process
What You Can Expect
Our Approach to Disability Education Services in Kansas City
-
Case Management serves as a liaison between the insurance provider, medical team, and the patient. Our case managers serve as patient advocates and guide individuals and families throughout their journey at Ability KC. They’ll be able to connect you with the appropriate care team based on your specific challenges and your individual goals.
-
Ability KC outpatient medical rehabilitation programs utilize an on-staff teacher. These instructors work as a liaison between families and schools including tutoring, school re-entry, and advocacy. Our team will meet with individuals and families to identify their educational challenges and recommend treatments and programs that will aid their educational goals.
-
Our services don’t end once a person completes their treatment program. Even when patients and families accomplish all of their care goals and reach their desired milestones, we’ll always be here as a resource to help guide them through the next phases of their lives.
