JOB OVERVIEW:
Under general direction of the Supervisor Occupational Therapist performs patient care related tasks and functional supervision of support staff..
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
EXPERIENCE:
No experience required. Experience with pediatric patient swallowing treatment/care desired. Prior hospital or neuro-rehab experience preferred. One year of pediatric experience preferred if providing service to individuals birth to 13.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Appropriate State license or license eligible, flexibility, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required. CPR certification or eligible. Word processing experience preferred.
Will be expected to following organizational safety practices including wearing face mask and other PPE equipment as required.
