Speech-Language Pathologist - Adult Medical Rehab

We have some great opportunities in our adult outpatient services. Our services our Monday – Friday. Our mission is to build brighter futures for children and adults with disabilities by providing comprehensive educational, vocational and therapeutic services.

Under general direction of the Supervisor, performs patient care related tasks and functional supervision of support staff. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our Adult Med Rehab team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients. You will work closely with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills.

EDUCATION:

Master’s degree Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited school.

EXPERIENCE:

No experience required. Prior hospital or neuro-rehab experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Appropriate State license or license eligible. CCC or be eligible for CFY. Flexibility, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required. CPR certification or eligible. Word processing experience preferred.
