Internship Opportunities
Ability KC is pleased to offer a variety of internship opportunities to support our 2025 Summer programs. Internships will allow individuals to have hands-on experience working with patients with disabilities as guided by a multidisciplinary therapy team.
Key Dates:
- Applications open: February 10
- Application deadline: March 14
- Interviews: March–April
For 2025, internships will be available in 2 sessions as well as a full summer opportunity. Session dates and time commitments vary depending on the needs of each program and will be coordinated with the program supervisor. While some programs follow a set schedule, others may offer flexibility around the intern’s work/class schedule, vacations etc. Please include all prior commitments in your application.
Sessions:
- Session 1: May 27th – June 27th (closed for Holidays: Memorial Day 5/28, Juneteenth 6/19)- 5 days/week
- Session 2: July 1st – August 8th (closed for Holiday: Independence Day 7/4)-5 days/week
- Full Summer: May 27th – August 8th (closed for Holidays: Memorial Day 5/28, Juneteenth 6/19, Independence Day 7/4)-2-3 days/week
