Under the general direction of licensed therapists, assists in or administers therapeutic treatment to patients. Under the general direction of the classroom teacher provides tutoring. Provides supervision and carryover of functional skills in activities when not in therapy. Assists with recreational activities as needed, including planning and implementation as indicated. Under the general direction of supervisor, coordinator, and/or staff participates in and completes daily program management tasks.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health related field or education field preferred, or related work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Three years related work experience or degree indicated above preferred..
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Flexibility, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is required.
- Word processing experience preferred.
